Nice day tour in Philadelphia rewind the time back to 1800s

8 08 2009

Today I finally get to tour around Philadelphia. We started walking pass Capital Hall, which has the biggest statue on the tower in the US, then we went to Reading Terminal to have crapes for late brunch. We stumbled into the annual Dutch Festival in the market, where there are a lot of produce, traditionally made food by Amish community around Philadelphia. Then we walked through China town and head toward Independence Hall, and found out the 1st Lady was visiting the Independence Hall; so they shut down the entire block for security reason.
Afterward, we took the bus to the Museum of Art, where they filmed the movie Rocky, where he run up the stairs before the boxing tournament. Then we went to the Jim's Steak for the famous Phili cheese steak sandwich!!! The line was long, but it's all worth it after the 1st bite. And there was a girl outside the street flirting with a on duty cop all the time while we were there eating…. maybe she's a decoy for something…. haha.
