Here is a visual of how many earthly materials we are consuming in U.S. and globally. Everyone is focusing on harvesting renewable energy from nature, but nobody is looking at the potential materials that could be recycled. Until the day we start running out of earthly materials, we will continue to throw trash contains precious materials out the door that could be recycled and reused.

Like in the movie When the Earth Stood Still says,
“it’s only on the brink that people find the will to change. Only at the precipice do we evolve.”
